Herbal Medicine & Hormonal Health

In my acupuncture private practice, a lot of people are seeking help with hormonal balance and cycle healing. What causes imbalance to our system in this way? Constitution, physical & emotional traumas to the body, environment and diet are just a few reasons that we can experience imbalances with our hormones & cycles. Some symptoms of hormone imbalance could look like an irregular cycle (early or late), heavy or light cycle, acne, abnormal bleeding, abnormal cramping, missed periods, headaches and PMS. If you are struggling with any of these symptoms, it is important to look at your menstrual cycle and see if any balancing can be done there to help with hormonal health! In this class we will talk about common cycle-related imbalances and a handful of herbs to help you with symptoms related to an abnormal menstrual cycle. My hope at the end of the class is that you will have a better understanding of what a healthy cycle looks like, a few herbs that can help ease symptoms and ideas for treatment options for you.

This class will be offered on Zoom and is sliding scale with a suggested donation of $15-30. Once you purchase a ticket, I will hold your spot and send out the Zoom link and handout the day of! There are no refunds for this class.
