Herbal Immune Support & Syrup Making

Although we are in strange times for talking about a typical cold & flu season, herbal medicine support for the immune system is always valuable information to learn!  Come and learn about herbs to support your immune system, whether it be for cold & flu, or the start of getting sick – herbs have been used for ages to aid in healing the body.  A few herbs we will talk about will be Astragalus, Rose hips, Cinnamon and Ginger, just to name a few.  I will also walk you through making an immune boosting syrup to help get you through the winter months!  You will need to gather: 1 cup of dried herbs (elderberries only, or a mix of elderberries, rosehips and hawthorn berries – you can also grab a stick of cinnamon, star anise, some fresh or dried orange peel, thyme, rosemary or sage), honey or white sugar, brandy (if you’d prefer not to have alcohol, that’s fine), a stovetop to cook on and a small pot, a sieve or something to strain the herbs with and something to store the syrup in (any kind of jar is fine).  For an additional cost, you can pickup the herbs from me before the class – just contact me!

There are no refunds for this class and no guarantee of receiving a recording after class. Class notes, if any, and Zoom link will be sent out within 24 hours of event start time.  Tickets are $25 and can be purchased at the link below:
