Spring is a common time for people to want to clean up their system from accumulations in the winter. There are many ways to cleanse the body by not stripping it completely of all vital nutrients through major detoxing! Gentle detoxification can be done by optimizing liver function and digestive health. We will learn a handful of herbs that can be helpful in this process including Dandelion, Burdock and Triphala (mostly Western herbs, but some Ayurvedic herbs as well). We will also address some East Asian dietary therapy that could be helpful during this time.
