Let us start 2018 off right – stress free! In this class, we will discuss herbs that are appropriate for reducing stress and anxiety to keep you calm and give you energy – stress can have a huge effect on many other systems of the body such as the digestive system, endocrine system and nervous system. We will cover some herbs that are adaptogenic (tonics), nervines and sedatives such as Ashwaganda, Astragalus, Reishi, Scullcap, Valerian and more. You will leave with more knowledge about what these herbs are and how to use them plus a couple of easy Qi Gong exercises that you can do anytime, anywhere. This class will be mostly lecture but interactive with some tasting of the herbs - I'll have a packet for you, so please bring a pen! No herbal experience necessary.
